Bonfire of farewell, thoughts of my homeland, a peaceful heart.
Every August in Kyoto, large bonfires in the shape of letters
or figures are lit on five mountains
to guide the spirits of the deceased to the afterlife.
This event is called 'Daimonji no Okuribi'
